TimbukTEK was created by two “outdoor lov’n” brothers who had an idea!

If Christopher Columbus could navigate on open seas using the nighttime stars, why couldn’t they create some mini, man-made stars of their own to navigate through the woods? Celestial stars aren’t easily seen through a tree canopy. Hate to say it, but ol’ Columbus would be lost in our woods. Could these two guys from TimbukTEK help him out?

The brothers wanted a simple, low-TEK solution. These new, man-made stars had to be bright and intelligent enough to know when to sleep and conserve energy. Because there couldn’t be millions of them, they had to be portable and reusable. After lots of tinker’n, the new devise is finally ready. Mr. Columbus, we’d like you to meet our new BUGS…Light up your life!
